Blurry eyes above hollow
cheeks,
They close and open,
They see and unsee the

Blood flows through veiled

The mist is too deep and

Faces and memories flicker

Sunshine illuminates a
face,
A bright, mellow face I've yearned to see,
A beautiful, hallowed face that no longer exists in reality,
But this is the song of my soul - this is my dream, and you've come to complete the
truth:

Nowhere except here,

Desultory Reflections 20th April 2019 3:25 am The setting is the same. I'm spread out in my bed, my posture stuck somewhere between sitting and lying. I'm alone in my room, in the whole apartment in fact, alone as that time before I was born, a loneliness that's calling out to me, the only voice echoing along the walls, akin to death.
